It’s the recovery on the side of the Archers du Castel who brought out bows and targets in the multifunction room of the Lure.
The membership of the club, created a little over 25 years ago, had dropped in 2020, falling to 17 participants. 2021 marked the recovery with 42 licensees. For this season which is starting, the president, Alain Deloup, is confident. “At the forum of associations, we had a lot of hits”.
Launch of initiations
The club will launch initiations with discovery of techniques, from September 17. So there is still time to come and join the club. Archery is practiced from the age of 8, during the first year the club lends the equipment. Several training slots are offered: Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. multifunctional.
The Archers du Castel will participate in the championships and host two rounds: October 30, from chick to senior 3, and, in January, the departmental team competition.
