What is WUBS
The “Sun Chlorella presents World University Basketball Series (WUBS)” is an international university basketball tournament hosted by JUBF and operated in cooperation with “Rakuten Sports,” a global company that supports athletes on Rakuten.
It aims to strengthen the talented players and basketball communities in each country, and promotes the revitalization of basketball.
The tournament provides college teams and players with a platform to showcase their skills on the international stage.

Held from August 9th at Yoyogi Gymnasium in Tokyo
The first “WUBS” was held by invitation-only college basketball teams from around the world.
Japan’s Tokai University, Indonesia’s Peritaharapan University (UPH), Taiwan’s National Chengchi University (NCCU), and the Philippines’ Ateneo de Manila University will compete.
Six round-robin matches will be played over three days to determine the series champion.
