The first “WUBS” was held by invitation-only college basketball teams from around the world.

Japan’s Tokai University, Indonesia’s Peritaharapan University (UPH), Taiwan’s National Chengchi University (NCCU), and the Philippines’ Ateneo de Manila University will compete.

Six round-robin matches will be played over three days to determine the series champion.
