It is an unexpected ultimatum which is put forward by The Athletic Monday. According to the American media, Kevin Durant issued an ultimatum to the leaders of the Brooklyn Nets. To see him stay with the New York-based franchise, they would have to part ways with coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks. If Kevin Durant’s trade request at the end of June was very real, his motivations remained unclear until then.
On Saturday, Durant and Nets owner Joe Tsai traded in London. One conclusion emerged: KD no longer believes in the Nets as long as they are led by Marks and Nash.
