WNBA: Franco-American James Wade named manager of the season

Franco-American James Wade (47) has been named leader of the WNBA 2022 season, he who combines the positions of coach and general manager at Chicago Sky.

After being voted coach of the season in 2019 and winning the WNBA championship title in 2021, James Wade has added a new prestigious line to his list. The Franco-American was named leader of the WNBA 2022 season as general manager of Chicago Sky.

With 11 votes, the husband of Edwige Lawson is ahead of the general manager of the Atlanta Dream Dan Padover (7 votes) and the general manager and coach of the Washington Mystics, Mike Thibault (6 votes).

His team finished second in the regular season with the same record as the first, the Las Vegas Aces (26-10). With 72.2% success, he helped the franchise achieve its best regular season win ratio in its history. His players will face the New York Liberty of Marine Johannes next night for the beautiful quarter-finals of the playoffs.
