OG Anunoby Nearing Return for New York Knicks: Could Play in Conference Finals

OG Anunoby’s return to the slopes would be very close to being finalized, since, according to sources close to the media ESPNthe British would be ready to play a supposed seventh game against the Pacers, or to play in a supposed Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.

It should be remembered that Anunoby suffered a hamstring injury in the second match of the Semifinals, and since then he has been working on his recovery. However, from New York they do not rule him out one hundred percent for this coming Friday.

“He is already out of the pool and is working with the Knicks,” said journalist Adam Zagoria.

«He is doing everything possible to return as soon as possible. It seems more likely that he will be back for the Conference Finals, if the Knicks get there… That seems like a realistic goal,” added Chris B. Haynes.

With Anunoby on the court they have obtained a 20-3 record in the regular season, and a 4-2 record in the current playoffs. Currently with Randle, Robinson, Bogdanovic and the aforementioned Anunoby injured, Thibodeau has a rotation of only seven players.
