The 35-year-old Djokovic has already lost the opening Grand Slam of the Australian Open season because of this, and will most likely miss the US Open, which starts on August 29.
Djokovic has repeatedly emphasized that he will not get vaccinated against covid-19, but he has not given up hope of starting in Flushing Meadows. But the United States would have to relax the current measures that prohibit unvaccinated foreigners from entering the country.
