Johan Bakayoko has once again handed over his business card to coach Ruud van Nistelrooij. The 19-year-old Belgian scored his first professional goal against FC Emmen and paved the way for a smooth victory for the Eindhoven team.

Johan Bakayoko has had an excellent start to the season with PSV. The young Belgian opened his account with the Eindhoven club after 18 minutes, good for his first league goal at the highest level.

With another clumsy own goal from Kieftenbeld and a goal from tastemaker Cody Gakpo, PSV was on roses before the break. Gakpo was also able to strike after the break, Ole Rommeny was able to save the honor with the PhD student.

PSV can thus confidently work towards the return leg in the third qualifying round of the Champions League at home against Philippe Clement’s AS Monaco. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.

The winner of the double showdown will face Union of the Rangers in the final CL preliminary round. Union has the best papers for the time being after a 2-0 win against the Scots.
