Vin Scully dies, narrator of Fernando ‘Toro’ Valenzuela’s no hit or run

The popular chronicler of the Dodgers amazed with his voice during 67 years in the MLB.

It was June 29, 1990 when Fernando ‘Toro’ Valenzuela marveled at the MLB with no hit or run that had as an unbeatable setting the narration of Vin Scullywho died this Tuesday at the age of 94.

The popular Dodgers announcer for 67 years left a wide-ranging legacy in the Major League Baseball with his sober and passionate way to narrate the games of the ninth angelina.

Valenzuela’s epic performances were countless stories for Scully from the Dodger Stadiumwho saw in the Mexican pitcher that hero of whom all his battles had to be told.

He narrated titles of the Dodgers and of course the ones won by ‘Toro’ Valenzuela in 1981 and 1988. The Cy YoungGold Glove, national leagues and other awards that forged a good friendship between player and reporter.
