After undergoing surgery for the fourth right humerus, Marc Marquez’s condition is now getting better. Ten weeks after surgery Marc’s recovery has made significant progress.
After a few weeks of rest and light physiotherapy, Marc’s routine started to improve again. Now he often trains a lot in the gym, Marc has been trying to maintain his overall fitness during his recovery and now The Baby Alien is starting to work on strengthening his right arm.
However, Marc remains under the supervision of his team of doctors, physiotherapists and advisors. The entire training process and its progress are carefully monitored and managed. Marc’s current portion of training is running, swimming and resistance training in the gym. Each week the weight and resistance of the workout is slowly added to increase strength without overloading the body too much.
“Step by step I’m feeling better and the bone is healing in a good way, this is the best news of everything I’ve done. We are still in rehab mode. At the end of August, I will have another medical check-up, from there we can make another step with rehab and really start pushing and building muscle.” said Marc through the official HRC website
“Some days are better than the previous days, but it’s all part of the journey. I’m optimistic, but I don’t want to say too much about the time (comeback) until we get the final check, this is not the time to push too hard. I’ve waited a long time to get this feeling.”
