Aljamain Sterling suspects his inclusion in UFC 280 as a form of punishment from the UFC.

JUARA.NET – Bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling believes his transfer to UFC 280 was a punishment.

Aljamain Sterling himself was previously scheduled to perform at the event on September 10, UFC 279.

Sterling is scheduled to defend his bantamweight title against TJ Dillashaw.

However, Dana White and colleagues decided to move it to the planned event at the Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi.

This move is said to be the result of the inauguration of the match between Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz as the main event of UFC 279.

However, Aljamain Sterling has another theory about his shift to the October 22 big event.

The fighter named Funk Master suspects this move as a form of punishment from the UFC.

This allegation was conveyed in an interview with The MMA Hour.
