The WNBA’s place grows in NBA2K23

Launched on NBA 2K21, “The W” mode (“MyCareer” mode in the WNBA world on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) continues to expand.

“The WNBA is growing and evolving rapidly, and we’re also looking to expand the breadth and reach of W Mode to give WNBA fans more ways to experience it.”said Felicia Steenhouse, Senior Producer at Visual Concepts.

2K Sports has therefore listed the six main new features present on NBA2K23, starting with the arrivals of the All-Star Game and the Commissioner’s Cup to add a little spice to the regular season. There will also be the possibility of expanding the league by choosing a city, a hall, a logo and uniforms to integrate a new team.

“The W Online” mode will also be enhanced with new content and rewards such as WNBA jerseys, a logo and “Coach MyTeam” cards. Also note that the game continues to explore the famous “contacts” represented by historical players of the league, via the “Contact Challenges”.

As you progress through the mode and accumulate contacts, they will challenge you to tick off certain matches on the calendar to exceptionally team up with new players during “Contact Workouts”.
