A few days ago in this city, the provincial stage of the “Correntinos Games 2022” took place, in the disciplines: Table Tennis, Tennis, Boxing, Judo, Badminton and Artistic Gymnastics. In this way, the Province of Corrientes already has the first classified to the National Evita of Mar del Plata.
The first round of provincials began last Thursday, with the arrival of the delegations from the interior and the reception by the head of Sports, Jorge Terrile, and the work team of the Sports Secretariat.
In this context, a welcome dinner was held, an opportunity where Mr. Terrile valued the sports policy of the Government of the Province and Dr. Gustavo Valdés, highlighted in this great sports festival called “Juegos Correntinos 2022”.
The competition, in its different stages, is presented as a program organized and directed by the Secretary of Sports of the Government of the Province, articulating tasks with the General Directorate of Physical Education of the Ministry of Education and the 74 communes.
The contest classifies the representatives of the province to the National Evita in sports: conventional, adapted and for older adults.
