With the support of the State Government directed by Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, the Summer Camp began at the Potosino Institute of Physical Culture and Sports directed by Edmundo Ríos Jáuregui, coordinated by the Subdirectorate of Social Sports, which will be held until August 19 and where the participants will be developing their physical and motor skills.
With the motto “in every child humanity is born” this adventure began for the hundreds of girls, boys and adolescents who participate in this camp and where they will be active in the morning from 08:00 to 14:00, the headquarters is the sports unit “Adolfo López Mateos, the attendees are supervised by personnel specialized in education and physical culture, as well as in sports disciplines.
This camp aims to strengthen the basic principles of sport in girls and boys, in addition to promoting the rules and norms of coexistence in society, as well as the strengthening of teamwork, it also seeks to prevent diseases in minors, all aimed at maintaining a culture of peace and healthy coexistence, to prevent violence among minors.
Some of the sports disciplines that will be put into practice are softball, basketball, baseball, athletics, Olympic wrestling, crosskids, badminton, artistic gymnastics; In addition, during the three weeks of the camp they will be complemented with artistic activities such as painting, drawing, scenic art, breakdance, a series of conferences with topics of interest to the participants were also scheduled. The foregoing as a basis for promoting the comprehensive development of each girl and boy who is part of these activities.
