LIDO DI CAMAIORE – The 11th “United against the ALS” tournament (this year in memory of Mario Stefanutto), splendidly organized by the In Gioco Per La Solidarity association, which collected 2 thousand euros to be donated to Aisla Versilia for assistance to the families of ALS patients, goes to the Farnesi C5 which in the final he overcame with a tennis 6-2 Inic Asd.
The result, however, is also too broad because Inic Asd has repeatedly put in difficulty Farnesi C5, already champion in two circumstances, which in any case has proved to have an excellent technical level. Farnesi C5 starts strong immediately and goes forward 2-0 with a brace from Del Frate. Inic Asd collects but does not give up and shortens with Seck, but before the end of the first half Bertoldi puts in the 3-1.
At the beginning of the second half Preci scores 2-3 on a free kick and seems to give way to a new game. Farnesi C5, however, is too experienced and strong team (Marioni elected best goalkeeper and Del Frate top scorer) and Bertoldi finds the 4-2. In the final Inic Asd plays without a goalkeeper, trying to take advantage of an extra player of movement, but Misuri and Roggio, on the counterattack, do not forgive for the final 6-2.
“It was a good match – say Andrea Marioni and Giampaolo Farnesi for Farnesi C5 -; we took advantage of our experience. As usual, a beautiful tournament”. Bruno Peirone of Inic Asd does not make any dramas: “Against such a team you pay every single mistake and so it was. Having said that, the result is too heavy because we put them in difficulty by always remaining in the game”.
