The Municipality of General Pueyrredon – through EMDER and EMTURyC – reports that 6350 people registered to participate in the local stage of the Buenos Aires Games, which constitutes a historical record. Of that number, 5,970 will participate in sports disciplines, while 380 will participate in cultural categories.
After the initial phase (which in our municipality runs from June 3 to July 15), the Buenos Aires Games will develop a regional event – between July and August – and another interregional event – which will be incorporated this year – in September. The finals, as is traditional, will be played in Mar del Plata, in October.

The Municipal Sports and Recreation Entity confirmed the list of venues to be used: Islas Malvinas Sports Center, Colinas, Las Heras, Libertad and Centenario neighborhood sports centers, the Alberto Zorrilla Natatorium, the Justo Román athletics track, the Municipal Hockey Center, CEDETALVO, Mar del Plata Chess Federation, Pan American Corridor, Varese Beach, IAE Club and La Vía Tejo Club.
In addition, it was confirmed that the 5970 registered were distributed as follows: 3959 youth, 899 adults, 181 federations, 4 in electronic sports, 4 in robotics, 2 in transplants and 921 in people with disabilities.

In this frame, Starting on June 3, the local phase of the Buenos Aires Games will take place in the scenarios arranged for this purpose.: Colón Municipal Theater (Yrigoyen 1665) those who registered for Folkloric Dance and Malambo will participate.
