A small celebration of the foundation in the Attler beer garden after a large shower of medals with city and district representatives

“I would not have thought that our athletes would bring such a rain of medals to Attl,” said Jonas Glonnegger during his speech in the Attler beer garden. As part of a small ceremony, he honored the participants of the Special Olympics state games (we reported) together with Irene Oberst (representative for the interests of people with disabilities in the district) and Werner Gartner (Wasserburg’s second mayor).

The results:

  • Gold in climbing: Klaus Showerer, Josef Staudhammer, Benedict Oberst (Speed)
  • Silver in climbing: Benedict Oberst, Jacqueline Franz, Maximilian Ertl, Christoph Schreiner
  • Bronze in climbing: Benedict Oberst (lead climb)
  • Fourth in climbing: Mario Otto
  • Gold in judo: Sabrina Bargel
  • Silver in judo: Stefan Oppelt, Florian Stöger
  • Bronze in judo: Thomas Dobrouschek, Florian Linsner
  • 2x silver in breaststroke (50 and 100 meters): Carina Hampel
