Shin Tae-yong Officially Calls 36 Players to the Indonesian U-19 National Team TC

BOLASPORT.COM – The coach of the Indonesian U-19 National Team, Shin Tae-yong, summoned 36 players to attend the training camp (TC) to prepare for the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification.

This TC will be held in Jakarta from August 25 to September 6.

In this summons a number of names such as Cahya Supriadi, Kakang Rudianto, Marselino Ferdinand, Ronaldo Kwateh and others still adorn the Garuda Nusantara squad.

“Coach Shin Tae-yong will lead the inaugural practice on Thursday (25/8).”




“To the players who follow TC, I hope to work hard, be disciplined, and never be complacent in order to get a place in the U-19 team,” said PSSI chairman Mochamad Iriawan.

At this call, a number of new names were called by Shin Tae-yong.

These players are Frengky Missa, M Ferarri, Muhammad Akrom, Muhammad Widi Syarif, and others.

Persija became the team that contributed the most players with 10 players.

Followed by Persebaya with four players, then Bhayangkara FC, Persib, and PSM with three players each.

“We believe that with this material, Indonesia can qualify for the upcoming AFC U-20 Cup finals,” he added.

The AFC U-20 Cup qualification will be held on September 14-18 at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya.

Indonesia is in group F along with Timor Leste, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
