“She is all I have”, Luciano Spalletti explains with a fan who insulted his mother

LE SCAN SPORT – At the end of the Napoli-Fiorentina meeting on Sunday (0-0), coach Luciano Spalletti came to chat with a Fiorentina fan who insulted the Italian’s mother several times.

An episode disrupted the end of the match between Napoli and Fiorentina (0-0), counting for the 3rd day of Serie A on Sunday. At the final whistle, Neapolitan coach Luciano Spalletti ran to a Viola fan in the stands to explain himself, following the insults heard throughout the game.

A security guard had to intervene to separate the two men. The fan in question even tried to slap Luciano Spalletti after their verbal fight. The 63-year-old Italian did not appreciate the many insults directed at his mother.

“Florence audiences are always incredibly rude. They have children close to them and they keep insulting my mother. Every time here, it’s always the same story. My mother is 90 years old and she is all I have. The coarseness of this level is an impossible thing,” explained the Italian technician at a press conference.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen also seemed very upset at the final whistle, while several of his teammates tried to hold him back.
