Spremberg (MB). The SAKURA recreational athletes from Spremberg took part very successfully in the 2022 state championship in Brandenburg. Before the fights began, no one would have thought that the SAKURA athletes would be able to intervene in the medal fight, since the five state academies determined the level. After the fights were over, coaches and accompanying parents had reason to celebrate. The SAKURA judoka won the state championship title with Lilly Kratzin and Lina Weber. Marie Rubik, Eva Hein and Kaitlyn Andrea Lessig won silver medals. Johann Lindner and Carl Hutzler took bronze. A big thank you goes to the SAKURA trainer team for the great preparation.
