Saint Jean. Badminton: doors open for those under 18!

While the 2022/2023 season will soon be launched, the French Federation of BaDminton (FFBaD) has just awarded the Saint-Jean badminton club a 3rd star for its youth school. A very nice reward for the work done for many years and above all a first in the history of the club!

The Saint-Jean badminton school is:

– Welcoming all children from 6 to 18 years old

– Nearly 50 licensees for the 2021/2022 season

– All levels: from beginner to competitor

– A team of experienced coaches, made up of two state-qualified coaches and a badminton CQP facilitator

– Minimum one training slot of 1h30 per week until 4h30 for

competitors

– A family slot on Sunday afternoon

– The possibility of participating in various events during the season (Minibad trays, youth departmental meetings, competitions from departmental to national level).

For the 2022-2023 season, the club wishes to welcome even more children and offers young people from Saint-Jean and the surrounding area 2 “open house” slots to come and try badminton: Wednesdays August 31 and September 7, from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the René Cassin gymnasium (chemin de Montrabé,

in front of the soccer fields). “No need for a medical certificate, only a sports outfit and a water bottle will be required. The rackets and shuttlecocks will be provided by the club. Do not hesitate to take the plunge, the supervising team will be very happy to welcome you to help you discover a very nice activity, badminton!” explains Nicolas.
