RWE: 213-time second division player comes | RevierSport

Before the away game in Bayreuth, Rot-Weiss Essen has signed a very experienced man for central midfield.

Red and white food had announced it. Players should be handed over, new players should come and the money is there, all additions should be financed from ongoing operations.

The first access is here now. Namely for the central midfield – this is where RWE is on Friday before the away game in Bayreuth (Saturday, 2 p.m.) Clemens Fandrich before. Pure routine for the people of Essen who currently need exactly that.

Players with experience. And Fandrich has 213 second division games alone, the most (184) for Erzgebirge Aue. After relegation with Aue he was without a contract and now RWE has struck.

“Clemens Fandrich has been an undisputed regular player at an established second division club in recent years. He brings a lot of experience and will bring more stability to our game. Since he has taken part in team training at Chemnitzer FC in recent weeks, he comes to us in very good physical condition and can therefore help us directly. We are very happy that he has chosen us,” explains sporting director Jörn Nowak.

Additions: Felix Schlüsselburg (on loan to Lippstadt), Mustafa Kourouma (own U19), Ron Berlinski (SC Verl), Björn Rother (Hansa Rostock), Aurel Lobongo (FC St. Pauli II), Felix Wienand (Schalke II), Meiko Sponsel ( 1. FC Köln II / loan), Timur Kesim, Nico Hajduk (both own U19s), Lawrence Ennali (Hannover 96 / loan), Moritz Römling (VfL Bochum / loan), Clemens Fandrich (without a club)

Departures: Marius Kleinsorge (on loan from 1. FC Kaiserslautern), Daniel Davari (RW Oberhausen), David Sauerland (Alemannia Aachen), Nils Kaiser (SC Wiedenbrück / loan), Zlatko Janjic (unknown), Felix Heim (Alemannia Aachen), Yannick Langesbach (TSB Steinbach), Timur Mehmet Kesim (SG Wattenscheid / loan)

Fandrich, who also played for RB Leipzig, explained after his move to Essen: “Rot-Weiss Essen is finally back where the club belongs – in professional football. Now it’s time to work hard to get positive results as quickly as possible. I I’m very keen to contribute my experience from now on and can’t wait to play in front of the emotional audience on Hafenstrasse.”
