Ron Jans was very pleased with FC Twente’s game in the home match against Fortuna Sittard. The coach saw Virgil Misidjan excel at the Tukkers.
“Last year he had a hard time, because Limnios played more than he did,” Jans says in front of the camera of ESPN. “He started unlucky, because he had a meniscus surgery at the beginning of the season. But I really have to compliment the staff, because Virgil has become much better at defense and pressure. Then it’s about not only playing beautiful football, but also have a return.”
Misidjan showed that against Fortuna. “Today he had an assist and a fantastic goal. Then you also position yourself”, Jans indicates. “Virgil always wants to play and if he doesn’t play, he can also add some extra power. But then you have to play like now, because I’m not thinking about passing him now. You have to position yourself and not depend on the coach.”
