Geraerts: “The players should enjoy this”

Vanzeir: “They have adapted to us”

Van der Heyden: “This is what you dream of”

Van Bronckhorst: “Too many players below level”

Glasgow Rangers coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst was disappointed. “Too many players remained below their level,” said the Dutchman. “A lot of things went wrong tonight”, Van Bronckhorst started. “We didn’t play at our level, too many players were absent. Last season we had good results outdoors. To get to the group stage of the Champions League you have to fight and we didn’t show that.” However, the former Dutch international continues to look forward to the return, next Tuesday in Glasgow. “We still have the opportunity to rectify the imbalance. Two goals behind is not insurmountable, but we will have to deliver a very different performance against a good opponent.”
