The Spanish Nuria Párrizas Díaz and Cristina Bucsa passed the first phase of the Canadian Masters qualifiers on Saturday and will compete on Sunday for a place in the first round of the Canadian championship that takes place in Toronto.
In the Canadian championship, which is a WTA 1000 event on the women’s circuit, the Spanish Paula Badosa and Garbiñe Muguruza also compete as heads of series four and eight, respectively.
