Ontuzhans in the starting line-up in a card-rich victory

The “Freiburg II” team, represented by the midfielder of the Latvian national football team, Daniel Ontužanas, celebrated the victory in the German third league match on Tuesday in Freiburg, the Latvian player spent 79 minutes on the field.

The Freiburg team won a 2:0 (0:0) victory over the “Hallescher” football players. Although there was a goalless draw at the halftime break, the visiting footballers managed to stand out in a negative sense – two red cards in 34 minutes. It also gave Ontujan’s team a chance to control the game and pull out the win. First, in the 70th minute, the ball entered the opponent’s goal after a touch by a “Hallescher” player, but in the 73rd minute, “Freiburg II” football player Davino Knape made it 2:0.

Ontuzhans went to the field in the starting lineup and was replaced in the 79th minute, when the victory was practically already settled.

After three matches, the Freiburg team occupies the second position in the tournament table with seven points in three games. Last season, “Freiburg II” took 11th place in the German third league.
