NBA – Jordan’s last Bulls jersey is up for auction

Cologne (SID) – The “Last Dance” jersey will be auctioned: In September, a jersey by basketball legend Michael Jordan from his last season with the Chicago Bulls will go under the hammer. As the auction house Sotheby’s announced on Wednesday, the jersey with the famous number 23 from the 1997/98 season will cost between three and five million US dollars.

Jordan last became NBA champion with the Bulls in 1998, after which what is possibly the best basketball player in history ended his career for the second time – before he played again for the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 2003. With Chicago, Jordan won the league title a total of six times.

The New York auction house had already auctioned sneakers owned by the 59-year-old for 1.5 million US dollars in 2021.
