NBA, Jazz among the worst teams of 2022/23?

According to next season projections made by Caesars Sportsbook, and shot by ESPN, the Utah Jazz are among the teams that could finish the 76th NBA championship at the bottom of the rankings.

Only 32.5% of wins: an almost inevitable effect for many teams in the first year of rebuilding.

They don’t have a small forward, they don’t have a center at the moment and I think it will be hard to see Donovan Mitchell in that shirt for a long time. 32.5% of wins? I think that percentage may also turn out to be lower

The Jazz have just traded Rudy Gobert, they are about to see Donovan Mitchell go away too (although they are not in a hurry to sell him) and they have a team that is all to be put back together.

So that 32.5% of wins could also drop as the regular season progresses, considering that a ‘rebuilding’ franchise could also consider the option of tanking, or try to lose more games than expected to be able to grab the highest possible position in the draft.

While franchises like Rockets and Thunder in the West have already begun this reassembly process starting with young stars, Utah is about to begin its journey: 22/23 is waiting to be discovered.
