However, Brno did not lose in a single duel and won 4 points. How did coach Richard Dostálek evaluate the last match?
Armory is back among the elite. However, it cannot be said that it would strengthen anyone massively. She practically did not bring any big names. Nevertheless, she managed the start to the league better than expected.
In the first round at home, they drew 2:2 with Slovácko, i.e. one of the best teams in our top competition in recent years. More than 8,000 fans watched the return of “Flinty” in Brno.
And a considerable number of supporters from the Moravian capital also arrived in Olomouc on Saturday. Sigma beat Ostrava’s Baník 3:0 in the first round and gained respect. But not for Zbrojovka players.
Brno managed to get three points at Hané after a 2:0 win. Only 19-year-old Michal Ševčík shone with a goal and an assist, and veteran Jakub Řezníček also made his mark.

In the beginning, you could see a little lack of playfulness, which gradually improved. At the end of it, he was fed up, he impressed with his performance.” he commented on Souček’s address.
And how do they evaluate the current behavior of their charges? “We didn’t make a forecast of how many points we wanted. I must admit that we were very much looking forward to the first match, it went well for us in front of a beautiful backdrop. Now the fans have come to support us in large numbers, for which we thank them and I hope that we have attracted them to the next match as well, and the great atmosphere whips up the players again.”
