Even thanks to the newly 20-year-old offensive midfielder, Zbrojovka is one of the biggest surprises after returning to the first league. “Before the start of the competition, when I saw the draw for Brno, I thought it would be either, or,” Rajnoch recalls in the Sport.cz studio.
And then he talks about what was going through his mind. There were two scenarios. “Either they’re going to thrash down or they’re going to play it up in some way and it could be a very interesting matchup,” he continues.
It is the second option that is currently a reality, with the great contribution of Michal Ševčík. “His left foot, overview of the game, speed of work with the ball, game intelligence, which he has at a high level in his twenties…” Rajnoch lists the strengths of the talent from Brno.
“Now, of course, everyone will watch out for him. Only now will the real test come for him, and there will be shown not only his mental resistance, but also his playing strength,” he warns.
Rajnoch also discusses with the moderator Aleš Svoboda which of the leading Czech clubs Ševčík would fit in best. You can learn more in the video from the Přímák show, which you can also watch in its entirety like a video or a podcast.
