Many League 1 Clubs Complain about Referee Performance, Here’s the Response of the PSSI Chairman

Referee, Mansyur when leading the fourth week of the 2022-2023 Liga 1 match between Persebaya Surabaya vs Madura United, at the Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Surabaya, Sunday (14/8/2022).

BOLASPORT.COM – PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan finally spoke about the complaints of many League 1 clubs about the referee’s performance which was considered unsatisfactory.

Since the 2022-2023 League 1 was held, many teams have complained about the performance of the referee who was considered unable to lead the match properly.

Not even a few League 1 clubs feel aggrieved by the leadership of referees on the gridiron.

Not long ago Persebaya Surabaya also sent a letter of demand to PSSI to evaluate the performance of the referee.

Of course, this demand was given because of the many fatal mistakes made by the referee during the match.

Persebaya Surabaya even felt aggrieved because when facing Madura United on Sunday (14/8) the referee’s goal from Silvio Junior was disallowed.

With that result, the team nicknamed Bajul Ijo had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Not only Persebaya, recently several other clubs such as the coach of PSIS Semarang, Sergio Alexandre also complained about the referee’s performance.
