Founded in 1946, Victoria Libertas Pesaro was born from the merger of two basketball clubs in the city, Victoria and Libertas. After the first historic sponsorship of Benelli Moto, the Pesaro-based kitchen company Scavolini has marked the company’s historic victories for 38 years. From 2014 to 2017 the Main Sponsor was Consultinvest. Since 2019 the Main Sponsor is Carpegna Prosciutto
The VL palmares boasts 2 league titles (’88 -’90), 2 Italian Cups (’84 / ’85 -’91 / ’92) and a Cup Winners’ Cup (’83).
Even today the club plays the Italian Serie A Basketball Championship.
