Kyrgios: “If my rival in the Wimbledon final had not been Djokovic, I would have won”

Kyrgios was asked if that final could serve as a lesson to him, something he stated, while assuring that, if he had faced another rival instead of Djokovic, he would have won. “Honestly I feel that if my first final was shocking, next time I will try to control emotions more gently, but I realized how you can be on a tightrope. I feel that if I had faced a tennis player other than Djokovic in the final, with the way I served, I would have won that day.
