The young physical trainer, Jorge Iglesias, joins the staff of the Clínica Ponferrada SDP, for this coming season
Jorge Iglesias arrives in Bercian lands to be the new physical trainer of the SDP Basketball first team, for the 2022/2023 season.
The physical trainer from Madrid, is a graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, CAFYD by UPSA (Salamanca), has a Master’s degree in functional assessment and rehabilitation of injuries by UCAM (Murcia) and level 2 basketball coach by FBCYL . In addition, he has several sports specialization courses such as the course for training and academy coaches, and the Sportcoach basketball data analyst course.
Regarding his experience in the world of sports, and more especially in basketball, since 2017, he has belonged to the technical team of CB Santa Marta de Tormes as coach of several youth teams, and since 2019 as a physical trainer and retrainer. of injuries of the senior teams of the 1st National women’s and children’s and regional junior teams.
Experience outside of Spain and in different sectors
In the 18/19 season, Jorge enrolled in an experience outside of Spain and was in Italy, more specifically in the city of Milan, where he was coach and physical trainer for the Club Tumminelli Romana Basket Milano regional teams in the youth and cadet categories.
Finally, it should also be noted that he has been a monitor in different camps, such as the Marta Fernández Camp in Salamanca, the Rudy Fernández Camp in Mallorca, the Elite-Gerona and the BasketExperience in León.
