Los Harlem Globetrotters or Harlem Globetrottersare a basketball team full of acrobatics and extraordinary plays, which have almost 100 years of history and have more than 20 Guinness records.

In dialogue with Contrarreloj of W Radio, Corey Thunder Lawone of the stars of the globetrotters, recounted his journey to reach the Harlem team and explained the reason why Colombians should attend the shows they have prepared for 5 of the country’s big cities.

The basketball player born in Chesapeake, Virginia, narrated his experience in basketball and his perspective from childhood when he wanted to be an athlete and dreamed of doing it professionally and at the same time earning money from it; this is why he pursued a college scholarship, which took him to High Point University in North Carolina, where was recruited by one of the Globetrotters scoutswho convinced him with the help of his best friend and allowed him to be one of two college players added to the team annually.

“It is a dream come true, it’s like living a double dream by playing basketball and earn money by doing something that I love, but also, it can impact the lives of many people around the world” declared Law.

Corey Thunder Law took the opportunity to joke about the reasons for seeing the Globetrotters: “I’m on the team, I’m the most handsome Globetrotters of all time, that’s what my mom says.” and likewise he highlighted the magic that can be experienced in each of his games, where there will be incredible plays, humor and a faithful representation of the history of the Stars and Stripes team.

“We have world-class athletes, we have some of the best dunkers and shooters in the world; It is an entertainment show for the whole family. since it doesn’t matter if you’re 9 or 90 years old, or if you like basketball or not, it’s a show you won’t forget, I guarantee you’ll come back”.

The Harlem Harlem Globetrotters tour will take place from August 11 to 15, starting in the city of Barranquilla and then going to Cali, Bucaramanga, Bogotá and ending in the city of Medellín.
