Hugo Besson will play in the Metropolitans 92 of the French league

In a move that is usually common (especially with European players), Hugo Besson has chosen to continue his career in Europe, exactly with the Metropolitans 92 of the French league, before making his final attempt at adventure in the NBA.

The young French shooting guard was chosen in the last draft by the Indiana Pacers with the pick 58; However, he was almost immediately sent to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for financial compensation, so it is now those from Wisconsin who have the rights to the 21-year-old player.

Given that he was not going to have the opportunity to play with Milwaukee (he did not have a place in a squad that will aspire to the ring for another season), Besson has decided to continue growing and forming a team that, on the other hand, will attract many eyes during the 2022 campaign -23, since there is also Victor Wembanyama, who is projected as number 1 in the 2023 draft.

Besson is young, but not inexperienced. Since 2018 he has been playing professionally, having spent the last year in the Australian NBL, a competition in which he averaged 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game with the New Zealand Breakers. Will we see him in a year in the NBA? Have to wait.
