Ceibo debuted in the Provincial League with a comfortable victory against Sparta de Villa María by 78-63. It was the opening match of the competition.
The “national flower” began in the best way its journey through the 25th edition of the Provincial Basketball League in which it defends the title of champion. He beat Sparta at home after a great second half and showed why they should respect him.
The team from our city did not start well and suffered in the first quarter from the intensity of the Villa María team. In the second he was able to react but he still went down to the long break.
From the third period everything was at the pace and taste of the locals. With a good contribution from Tomás Silveira at the helm, El Ceibo reacted and only allowed their rivals to score 6 points. In the last quarter he dedicated himself to maintaining the difference and settling the lawsuit.
El Ceibo began to defend his provincial reign in the best way and showed that he wants to repeat it again. He beat a tough opponent and played very well in the second half.
