Looking for a post 3 to complete its 2022-2023 workforce, Cholet Basket should hire Gaylor Curier, who spent last season in Strasbourg.
After recruiting two 5 positions earlier this week, Justin Patton and Neal Sako, Cholet Basket was to finalize its recruitment for the upcoming season by hiring a winger. According to Ouest-France, the Maugeois club has found it: it is Gaylor Courier (1.99m, 30 years old). The Francilien would arrive from SIG Strasbourg, where he spent the 2021-2022 financial year. In a post 3 shooter role, he flourished in Lassi Tuovi’s rotation, shooting 5.9 points on 41.1% shooting, 1.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 13 minutes on 51 Betclic ELITE and Champions League (BCL) matches. The former player from Limoges, Angers, Rouen, Souffelweyersheim, Orléans, Lille and Gravelines-Dunkerque took three quarters of his shots from behind the arc, often successfully (36.7%). He will thus be perfectly complementary to Boris Dallo, a much more complete little position 3 but less a specialist in long-distance shooting.
The workforce of Cholet Basket for the 2022-2023 season:
- Poste 1 : T.J. Campbell
- 1/2 : Dominic Artis and Enzo Goudou-Sinha
- 2/1: Hugo Robineau
- 3/2: Boris Dallo
- 3 : Gaylor Courier
- 4 : Perry Ellis
- 4/5 : Kim Tillie
- 5 : Justin Patton et Neal Sako
