DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell, who transferred to Galatasaray Nef last season, was injured in the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg match played in March and closed the season after a rupture in his Achilles tendon.
Akoon-Purcell, who played in 11 games in the Basketball Champions League with a yellow-red jersey last season, averaged 17.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.2 steals.
