The event that will announce the winners of the “Golden Ball” award to the world, organized by France Football magazine, will take place next Monday (3). Despite this, the management of the French publication declared that the victors are already aware that they have won the honor.

“Announcement of victories is done with a simple call. The winners are notified by me, I called them, they answered and they found out in the most direct way”, declared Pascal Ferré, editor-in-chief of “France Football”.
The journalist said that the reaction of the winners was “emotive, in most cases”.
The 63rd Ballon d’Or, which awards the best player in the world, will be awarded on December 3 in Paris. This year’s edition will have two new features: the women’s Ballon d’Or and the Kopa trophy, for the best player under 21 years old.
