Four FCB stars threaten to fail against Bochum!

Bitter news for Bayern, especially for Julian Nagelsmann. Before the away game against VfL Bochum, Munich are struggling with personnel problems.

As FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann announced on Friday at the final PK, shooting star Jamal Musiala is in danger of missing the upcoming Bundesliga game against Bochum next Sunday: “Jamal is more likely to be out now, he has a strain in the transition from the hip flexor, in the adductor area. It’s nothing dramatic, it’s already better today. We have to be a bit careful that nothing happens.”

According to Nagelsmann, 19-year-olds could play if it were the “CL final”. But Bayern don’t want to take any risks. Musiala has been in impressive form recently and collected five points in the first three players.

Nagelsmann has to rebuild his successful self

In addition, Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano and Gnabry are also threatened: “Matthijs has a ligament tear in his hand, Serge has a bony tear on his wrist, has a cast, plus adductor problems. Upa got a hit on the head of the fibula, so we don’t know yet if he can play.”

Particularly bitter: De Ligt should have made his starting eleven debut for Bayern against Bochum, as Nagelsmann revealed: “He has an injury to his scaphoid. He had an MRI today and if he gets a splint in time and is pain free then I would have been happy to let him play.”

The 35-year-old made it clear that he will change his starting XI for the first time this season and only want to rely on players who are 100 percent fit: “We will also change something. Two changes were planned, now there will be maybe three.”
