Football supporters destroy Brussels restaurant, 23 Swiss amok makers had to leave the country

The police of Brussels-Capital Ixelles has meanwhile started an investigation together with the South police zone. “23 Swiss people have been administratively arrested in the meantime,” says police chief Jurgen De Landsheer of the South police zone. “Based on the camera images, we have already been able to identify some Anderlecht supporters.”

“Amokmakers are absolutely not welcome here,” said State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Nicole de Moor (CD&V). “I see no point in making short work of hooligans who do nothing but cause damage.”

The Immigration Department has ordered the 23 Swiss to leave the country for disturbing public order. If they didn’t, they risked being banned from entering the country for three years.
