Today we are talking about an amateur grappling promotion that will make its debut in Italy on September 10th with an event in Milan: the grappling industries.
I really like the idea behind it: it’s not a knockout tournament, it’s a 5-player group.
Group 5 (Round Robin Pool) means that each participant has the opportunity to fight against 4 different people even if he loses in the first round.
If a person signs up yes Gi that No gi can do 8 races…. Think how much racing experience it accumulates!
Regulation
The regulation provides for the allocation of points but not advantages. The allowed techniques obviously depend on the belt and age according to this scheme:
As you can see the regulation allows more techniques than the IBJJF, for example the wrist Lock for the whites, kneebar, toehold and dance company for the blues (who participate in the “intermediate” class together with the viola).
