Fluminense plays the second game of the quarterfinals of the Women’s Superliga this Tuesday (29/03), at 9:30 pm, at the Hebraica gymnasium, and needs a victory over Sesi Vôlei Bauru to continue in the dispute for a spot in the semifinal. The mission is difficult, but when it depends on the use of Tricolor as home team, fans can be confident. Of the 11 games played at home in the first phase of the competition, Guilherme Schmitz’s team won eight, a 72.72% success rate.

The last time Fluminense lost a game as home team was on November 26 of last year, against Dentil Praia Clube, in the seventh round of the first round. Before, the team had only been surpassed at home by Itambé Minas, in a balanced game and decided only in the tie-break, and by Sesc RJ Flamengo, when it lost the opposite Bruna Moraes on the morning of the match.

Since then, there have been six home matches with six tricolor victories, one of them over Bauru himself, 3-2, in the 11th round of the first round. In the return, Fluminense was undefeated in the four matches they played at Ginásio João Coelho Netto.

Tricolor victory in the last duel in Hebraica

Fluminense has not played its games in the Hebraica gymnasium since the 2019/2020 season, interrupted after the qualifying phase due to the Covid-19 pandemic. And if the performance as home team at Ginásio João Coelho Netto, in Laranjeiras, is encouraging, the last duel against Bauru in Hebraica also brings good memories to the tricolors.

On December 17, 2019, Fluminense defeated the São Paulo team by 3 sets to 2, partial of 25/23, 22/25, 23/25, 25/20 and 15/10, for the first round of the Superliga.
