Last year, the men’s team participated in inter-city baseball for the first time, and the women’s baseball team won the 16th All Japan Women’s Hardball Club Baseball Championship in 2021, and is focusing on baseball. What was announced this time was “Ajec Championship Junior High School Baseball 5 Group Japan’s Best Match”. Five teams that won the championship of each group play against each other and decide the best in Japan. The first tournament will be around mid-August next year. It will be held at a major NPB ballpark.
The “Giants Cup” is one of the main tournaments of junior high school hardball baseball in which each group interacts. The tournament, which is also called “Koshien” for junior high school students, is held by all federations from the preliminary rounds in each region, so there are cases where some groups participate in the finals. Seiichi Hayashi, chairman of the Japan Little Senior Junior High School Baseball Association, said, “Each group has its own characteristics.
