Defeating Great Britain 82-38 in the last 16 round of the FIBA Men’s Under-18 European Basketball Championship, Turkey became the opponent of Lithuania in the quarter-finals.
Starting the match well and finishing the first period 23-11, Turkey went ahead 41-18 in the locker room. Turkey won the third period with a margin of 43 points 71-28 and won the match 82-38.
Turkey will face Lithuania in the quarter-finals tomorrow. If he defeats his opponent, the crescent-star team will fight with the winner of the France-Slovenia match in the semi-finals on Saturday, August 6th.
