Matthijs de Ligt (23) revealed in an interview with “De Telegraaf” that he is currently a bit desperate about looking for a house in Munich.
“It’s important to have a house and I don’t have one yet. We had found one, but then it turned out that it wouldn’t be available for another two years. But I don’t want to have a house just to have a house. It has to be the place where we will feel comfortable in the years to come,” he says.

He also adds: “Yes, I’m making it clear that I want to play at Bayern Munich for a long time. Otherwise I would not have signed for five years. It’s just the perfect step in my career at the moment.”

The next day I had to train at 30 degrees and play a game the same evening. In retrospect, that might have been a bit much. I did score a goal, but I was exhausted after ten minutes.”
