Faced with the controversy, Kevin Durant quickly deletes his last tweet!

Ultra-active on social networks, Kevin Durant can sometimes offer his fans a few outings that he immediately regrets. This was for example still the case this Friday, with a tweet on an all-time debate that he very quickly withdrew!

Whether during the season or in the middle of summer, he never lets go of his phone to focus on real life. Kevin Durant has been addicted to social media for years. If he has apparently abandoned his “burner accounts”, his activity is found tenfold on his main account. Even if it means sometimes publishing messages of which he very quickly realizes the controversial aspect.

Kevin Durant erases his hot take on Team USA 2012

After having exchanged a few hours earlier with LeBron James on Instagram, Durant returned this Friday to his favorite platform, namely Twitter. He also wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Olympic title won by Team USA in Tokyo, of which he had placed himself as one of the great craftsmen. His way of doing it, however, shocked some Internet users, so much so that the Slim Reaper ended up… deleting!

Kevin Durant : Out of respect for the sport I’m not going to say it was the best team ever, but damn it was the best… Forget it

Undefeated throughout the competition, this team indeed presented an incredible roster with, among others, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Kevin Love, James Harden and KD.

However, can the dominance of the Americans that year be compared to that of the Dream Team in 1992? Some fans are sure to find it hard to do. The fact that Durantula gives the advantage to “his” armada obviously seems logical, but inevitably caused some disagreements:

The Dream Team remains better, especially if some of the players who composed it had been authorized to play with the American selection during their prime in 1988.

By making Team USA 2012 the best team of all time, Kevin Durant has logically attracted the remonstrances of some Internet users. Immediately, the star winger of the Nets made this dubbing disappear… which was nevertheless captured!
