A total of 12 boys and girls who belong to a Ukrainian judo club and are temporarily evacuated to Yokohama were trained by Masashi Nishiyama (37), a men’s 90-kilogram class bronze medalist at the London Olympics, on the 4th. . The rehearsals were planned by the city of Yokohama so that they could hone their skills while living in evacuation shelters. Mr. Nishiyama teaches authentic techniques. The 12 people were enthusiastic while listening to how to step on the Osotogari.
