Dylan Theuns leaves Barhain for Israel-Premier Tech

Belgian cyclist Dylan Theuns, winner of the Flèche Wallonne last April, is leaving the Barhain-Victorious team to join “with immediate effect” Israel-Premier Tech, the two teams announced on Friday. Theuns, 30, will play the rest of the season with Israel-Premier Tech, with whom he has signed until the end of 2024.

The Belgian rider has 14 professional successes, including two stages of the Tour de France, in 2019 at La Planche des Belles Filles and in 2021 at Grand-Bornand. This season, in addition to the Flèche Wallonne, he won the first stage of the Tour de Romandie. By the end of the year, Theuns should participate in the Tour of Spain as well as the autumn season in Italy.
