How George Clooney helped D’Arcy Carden find her cool
Coming from a comedy background, Carden tells Variety he struggled when he played the role of Gill in Amazon’s. A leg to be stable. “I didn’t play sultry,” confides Carden. “This is out of my comfort zone. I’m so used to being a weird idiot ”.
Seeking inspiration, Carden thought, “Greta is fantastic. She and she is sexy, but she isn’t trying too hard. How would you interpret a boy? ”
Carden found what he was looking for in one of Hollywood’s coolest leads. “I started watching the performances of the fantastic actors,” Carden continues to Variety. “My little secret is that I was like, ‘This character is George Clooney.'”

Carden is best known for her roles in hit shows The good place e Barry.
